PENN Fierce V Live Liner is a range of powerful spinning reels equipped with a free spool system, designed primarily for fishing with live and natural baits. Sizes from 2500 to 8000 make it possible to choose a model for lighter setups as well as heavier fishing for large fish in both freshwater and saltwater. The Live Liner system provides an adjustable secondary drag that allows a fish to take the bait with minimal resistance. Once the handle is turned, the system automatically disengages and the reel switches to the main drag. This makes the reel particularly useful for live bait and other natural bait techniques. The full metal body and sideplate help keep the gearing aligned under load. CNC Gear technology provides precise gear operation, while HT-100 carbon fibre drag washers deliver smooth and controlled line release when fighting larger fish. The range includes 2500, 4000, 6000 and 8000 sizes. Maximum drag ranges from 5.4 kg on the 2500 model to 13.6 kg on the 8000, and the handle can be fitted on either the left or right side.
