The Mikado Intro FD reels feature an aluminium spool and aluminium handle, providing useful equipment in this price category. The aluminium spool is suitable for use with both monofilament and braided lines, while the sturdy gearing ensures efficient power transmission during retrieval and when playing fish. The reels are equipped with 3 bearings in a 2+1 configuration, contributing to smooth and consistent operation. Its spool holds 200 m of 0.20 mm line or 90 m of 0.30 mm line. The 3003 FD weighs 335 g, has a 5.2:1 gear ratio, a maximum drag force of 6 kg and retrieves 72 cm per handle turn. Its spool capacity is 330 m of 0.20 mm line or 150 m of 0.30 mm line. The largest 4003 FD weighs 345 g, offers a 4.9:1 gear ratio, a maximum drag force of 7 kg and retrieves 77 cm per handle turn. Its spool holds 370 m of 0.25 mm line or 190 m of 0.35 mm line.
