Savage Gear 3D Suicide Duck is a topwater lure designed to imitate a duckling. Its realistic shape and details were developed from a 3D scan, creating a distinctive silhouette for predators hunting close to the surface.
The hard ABS body is combined with semi-soft rotating feet. During the retrieve, the feet disturb the water, create splashes and leave a visible wake and bubble trail behind the lure. It can be worked slowly or quickly, with a steady retrieve or long pulls.
Two line attachment points allow the action to be changed. Attached at the beak, the lure runs lower with a more discreet presentation. Attached at the chest, it runs higher with a more aggressive action that resembles a duckling fleeing in panic.
The lure is fitted with two feathered treble hooks: one on the belly and one on the back. When fishing around vegetation or snags, the belly treble can be removed. The balanced body helps the lure land belly-down, leaving the back treble facing upwards.
