Savage Gear SGS6 Eging is a specialist saltwater fishing rod designed for catching squid and cuttlefish with egi lures. Its shortened butt section reduces strain on the wrist during lure retrieval and provides more blank length above the handle, helping to improve casting distance. The blank's bending action also helps hook squid and reduces the risk of losing them during the fight. The rod is suitable for fishing from harbours, rocky shores and when wading.
The sensitive blank is made from Toray 40T carbon and fitted with Fuji K stainless steel guides with SiC inserts. Their arrangement supports long casting distances and effective line management. A Fuji reel seat and high-quality EVA handle complete the construction. The rod is supplied with a deluxe rod bag.
